What you will do
- Develop scalable frontend and backend systems using our tech stack;
- Collaborate across data and platform team to organize work and create predictability in an unpredictable space;
- Optimize search technologies like OpenSearch or Elasticsearch to enhance query performance;
- Deliver high-quality software solutions and compelling customer experiences;
- Solve complex technical challenges independently or collaboratively.
Must haves
- 5+ years of experience building scalable frontend and backend systems;
- 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment;
- Experience working on startups with 0-1 type products;
- Experience with design libraries such as Tailwind;
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, React / NextJS, GraphQL, D3.JS or similar frameworks and libraries;
- Skilled in developing unit tests using a variety of tools such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright;
- Familiarity with Cube.js;
- Experience with AWS;
- Knowledge in search technologies like OpenSearch or Elasticsearch, with expertise in indexing, search optimization, and query performance enhancement;
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions;
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex technical challenges;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
- Upper-intermediate English level.
Nice to haves
- Experience with Vercel, Postgres, Clickhouse, NestJS, Snowflake;
- Experience with Python and/or other strongly typed languages;
- Experience with databases such as Clickhouse, Postgres, DuckDB, or similar;
- Experience working at B2B SaaS tech companies, especially during hyper growth;
- Familiarity with MLOps;
- Experience in managing Kubernetes clusters and workloads (AWS EKS preferred) using configuration as code.
