• What you will do

• Deliver quality backend software using AWS microservices with Terraform (you’ll have end-to-end ownership of what you build, from initial requirements reviews and architecture, to development and testing);
• Understand, comply with and enforce development standards to ensure consistency across the larger development team;
• Be passionate about ensuring quality, through solid test coverage for the code you write and by performing solid code reviews;
• Collaborate with the team to ensure specifications are being met;
• Remain knowledgeable of emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.

• Must haves

• At least three (3) years of software development experience;
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree or relevant work experience;
• Object-oriented programming knowledge;
• Experience with building and consuming APIs and Web services;
• Proficiency with languages such as Java, Python, SQL;
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap;
• Experience with the design and implementation of APIs;
• Aptitude for analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving;
• Well-versed in modern architecture and backend software design;
• Comfortable with large datasets with both relational and non-relational databases;
• Proficiency experience with Git;
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills;
• Above all, must have a good attitude, be a team player, and have a strong work ethic.
