  • What you will do

  • Lead the redesign of the information architecture to improve usability for procurement officers, vendors, and government stakeholders;
  • Define and oversee user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for key procurement processes such as vendor onboarding, contract approvals, and compliance tracking;
  • Own and evolve the design system, ensuring scalability, consistency, and adherence to WCAG and Section 508 accessibility standards;
  • Mentor and guide UX designers, fostering a user-centered design culture and best practices across teams;
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and policy teams to align UX strategy with business goals, technical constraints, and regulatory requirements;
  • Lead user research initiatives, including usability testing and stakeholder interviews, to validate design decisions and improve product adoption;
  • Advocate for UX best practices and data-driven design, ensuring that procurement workflows are intuitive and efficient;
  • Stay updated on government procurement policies and industry trends to continuously enhance user experiences.
  • Must haves

  • 8+ years of UX design experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role;
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in information architecture, workflow design, and design system development;
  • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for UI/UX design;
  • Deep understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508) and usability best practices;
  • Experience leading cross-functional collaboration in complex SaaS environments;
  • Upper-Intermediate English level.
  • Nice to haves

  • Experience leading UX for eProcurement, GovTech, or enterprise SaaS platforms;
  • Background in government procurement processes and regulations;
  • Expertise in scalable design systems and UI component libraries;
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for design-development collaboration;
  • Experience with data visualization and dashboard design for reporting and analytics.
