What you will do
- Work with a software engineering team at Indeed performing application updates and analyzing the impact in performance, stability, and changes needed for business requirements;
- Producing high-quality code;
- Communication with Engineering management;
- Alignment with existing development teams;
- Validation, monitoring, and ingestion to ensure high-quality and well-managed data pipelines.
Must haves
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development in data and feature engineering applications, including design, implementation, debugging, monitoring, and support;
- Strong proficiency in backend tech stacks as Python, Java among others;
- Databases: MySQL or Postgres;
- AWS services;
- Expertise in designing and implementing microservices architecture;
- Solid understanding of backend fundamentals, including APIs, data storage, and distributed systems;
- Experience in building data platforms and tools that enable actionable insights and drive business decisions;
- Proven ability to own and deliver end-to-end solutions, including troubleshooting and optimization;
- GitLab.
