Data Engineer Python (Senior/Lead) ID32748

• What you will do

• Support client implementations with ETL and data warehouse development, deployment, and testing;
• Write SQL and Python code to implement client requirements and solve business problems;
• Design and develop Tableau dashboards and reports;
• Lead planning activities and ensure on-schedule delivery of client deliverables;
• Recommend and implement changes to enhance data cleansing and conversion processes;
• Support testing and validation of new data conversion processes;
• Provide development support and mentor junior developers;
• Participate in production support cycles on a rotational basis;
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies and missing data issues from daily ETL loads.

• Must haves

• 7+ years of ETL and data warehouse development experience;
• 7+ years of experience leading complex solution designs;
• Strong SQL expertise and data mapping abilities;
• Experience with cloud technologies (preferably AWS);
• Python scripting knowledge;
• Tableau (or equivalent tool) and business intelligence implementation experience;
• Understanding of higher education data models (preferred);
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams;
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications;
• Upper-Intermediate English level.
