What you will do
- Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions, ensuring end-to-end ownership from requirement gathering and architecture to development, testing, and deployment;
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a strong emphasis on test coverage and performance optimization;
- Design, implement, and maintain APIs to facilitate seamless integration between systems;
- Develop and enhance front-end applications using Angular, jQuery, and other modern frameworks;
- Build and maintain AWS-based microservices for scalable and resilient applications;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers, to define and implement technical solutions;
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them as needed to improve software quality and development processes;
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, ensuring reliability and efficiency;
- Maintain proper documentation for technical solutions and development processes.
Must haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development;
- Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming concepts;
- Hands-on experience with API development and web services;
- Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, Angular, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap;
- Solid understanding of AWS cloud development and microservices architecture;
- Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, with proficiency in SQL and SQL Server;
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git;
- Ability to work with large datasets and optimize application performance;
- Experience working with API-driven platforms and developing extensible solutions.
Nice to haves
- Experience with XSLT is a plus;
- Experience in e-commerce and/or retail technology products is a plus.
