• What you will do

• Design and develop world-class systems to connect job seekers and employers effectively;
• Drive technical vision and lead cross-team business initiatives in Monetization;
• Build highly resilient, performant systems with modern CI/CD pipelines;
• Define and implement quality standards, monitoring, and operational excellence;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate and adopt innovative technologies;
• Contribute to migrating systems, deprecating legacy components, and improving observability;
• Migrate systems to One Delivery and retire legacy SMB components;
• Establish health dashboards and enhance system observability;
• Identify and deliver resilience and cost-saving opportunities for Monetization systems.

• Must haves

• 5+ years professional software development experience with Java, building scalable, microservices-based backend systems (SOA, Micro-services, Event-driven architecture);
• Experience designing and developing distributed platforms, services and APIs (REST, gRPC. GraphQL);
• Experience with large-scale data pipelines, event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka), and working with various data stores (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or DynamoDB);
• Familiarity with setting up CI/CD pipelines and working with cloud environments (AWS preferred);
• Experience using automated testing frameworks (Cypress, Robot, or similar tools);
• Experience in implementing observability best practices: logging, tracing, monitoring, alarming and alerting (Datadog, PagerDuty, or similar tools);
• Upper-intermediate English level.

• Nice to haves

• The ability to distill problem definitions and constraints from informal and ambiguous business requirements;
• Experience driving the technical elements of projects across multiple engineering teams;
• Experience with deep data analysis;
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Cypress, Selenium or similar);
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines, blue/green or canary deployments, chaos engineering. Spawning environments using infra as a code;
• Some experience with digital advertising such as ads serving, rendering, ranking or targeting;
• Experience working with distributed development teams across time zones, in a multicultural environment.
