Junior React.js Engineer

About the Client

Powered Research is a preclinical CRO specializing in non-GLP ophthalmic models for life science R&D companies. We have a fully equipped vivarium staffed with experienced scientists and technicians.

Our support staff averages 21 years in preclinical studies at pharmaceutical companies, biotechs, medical device companies, and large CROs.

Must have

• 1-2+ years of commercial development experience
• Intermediate spoken and written English
• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience in building React-based applications
• Experience with writing unit tests
• Experience with Redux (Saga/Thunk)/MobX, ES2015+, Webpack, Babel
• Comfortable with Git, code reviews, and Agile development processes and tools
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Be able to meet deadlines for assigned tasks

Will be a plus

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Chart.js or others
• Experience with Storybook

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web applications using modern technologies
• Write code based on best practices to make all applications consistent
• Work within the distributed development team (Ukraine, LatAm) to maintain and enhance the back-end on the various modules of the platform
• Participate in all cycles of software design and development
• Analyze feature requests and bug tickets to design solutions
• Analyze requirements and work with team members to create quality results
• Communicate effectively with customer and team members
