What you will do
- Develop and oversee the architecture of a multi-tiered distributed software system, suggest architectural solutions
- Provide software solutions for technical and business requirements and code the implementation
- Manage and prioritize development tasks for the team based on business requirements
- Ensure development tasks are completed by the team in a timely manner based on project plans
- Effectively communicate with different functional teams and stakeholders about the progress and changes team makes
- Conduct regular code reviews among the engineering team and provide solutions for code quality improvements
- Continually research and learn the latest techniques and best practices for back-end development and performance
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in an efficient manner.
Must haves
- BA/BS in Computer Science, or related degree
- 5+ years of experience with Python (Node.js or Go is preferable)
- 2+ years of experience with AWS
- Experience in application containerization with Kubernetes/Docker
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
- Experience with Git and Restful API
- Strong written and verbal English skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Previous experience of an engineering team leadership is a must
- Energetic, positive attitude combined with a drive to get things done
- Must be a team player, work well in changing environment, adapt quickly to customer needs, have the ability to think creatively and problem-solve
