What you will do
- Coach and serve multiple teams by ensuring Scrum practices and removing impediments.
- Schedule and facilitate all the Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint retrospectives, demos and daily stand-ups.
- Help team breakdown and estimate initiatives, and identify cross-team dependencies and risks.
- Guide team in estimating practices and facilitate team estimates.
- Coach team(s) to become self-organized and able to hit commitments at a high level of quality while finding ways to remove team impediments. Arbitrate between team members when necessary.
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement and team empowerment so that the teams reach their full potential for productivity, engagement, and morale.
- Understand and explain the team’s progress to interested stakeholders.
- Measure, evaluate, and communicate team metrics.
- Encourage transparency and associated metrics.
- Be the owner of the promotion creation process, accept requests, work with the stakeholders/engineer to validate that the promo is set up properly and handle setup.
- Assist the team with large projects that are ongoing, book meetings, take minutes, and pull together light documentation.
Must haves
- 10+ years of experience as Project Manager / Scrum Master
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification or equivalent
- PMP Certification
- Master’s degree in Project Management or equivalent
- Enthusiastic team player with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills conducive to team development
- Self-managed, organized, attention to detail, problem solver
- Understanding of the fundamentals of software development processes and procedures
- Knowledge and experience of Agile approaches such as Scrum and using Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Knowledge and experience in facilitation, continuous improvement, empowerment, and building transparency using data-driven decision-making
- Highly motivated, collaborative & possessing an entrepreneurial mindset
- Upper intermediate English level as well as strong written & verbal communication skills
- Flexible, agile & open-minded with a positive attitude

- Ability to translate the needs, wants, and motivations of biomedical scientists and engineers into accessible solutions
- Passion for accelerating biomedical science and engineering
- PMI- ACP certification
- Product Owner certification
- Full-scale project management (from strategy development to reporting)
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst and/or QA and/or Account Manager
- Development experience and engineering background is a big plus
- People management experience – mentoring technical team members
