Middle .NET Developer

AgileEngine is seeking a highly motivated and experienced .NET Engineer to join our team.  The Engineer is responsible for learning an Advertising Platform from the ground up so that it can be replicated and maintained by a new team.  The expectation is that the information gathered will be used to build Subject Matter Expertise as well as document and share that knowledge with additional resources as they onboarded in the future.  The Platform is AWS-centric using Lambda functions, Aurora Database and written in .net, C# programming language.

Skillset

• 4 plus years of Microsoft .net and C# development experience in N-tier environment, specifically with Micro-services
• Additional technologies include (Python, relational databases like Postgres, DynamoDB,
• Implementing, and supporting container software to host web services using AWS Managed Services  (AMI, VPC, Lambda, Load Balancers, Cloud Watch, S3, Firehose, Open Search)Docker, and Kubernetes);
• Experience building Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Source Control Management (preferably Git/GitHub)
• Testing tools to automate testing, including performance testing.
• Experience with performance and tuning applications that are high volume in both transaction and data, which require sub-second response time.

Responsibilities

• Learn and build code and architecture level understand of the Arity Ad Platform
• Collaborate closely and build rapport with product, research and engineering teams
• Design and develop a world-class ad serving platform from the ground-up
• Take full ownership of production deployments while adhering to best practices for CI/CD in AWS.
• Test, debug, and analyze performance, and document hardware and software technology components.
• Participates in daily site, cross-site, and product team standups
• Participates in retrospectives; demonstrating and encouraging each participant to provide feedback with empathy
