  • What you will do

  • Facilitate Scrum processes and ensure the team adheres to Agile principles;
  • Lead dailies, manage sprints, remove impediments, and ensure optimal use of JIRA Cloud;
  • Hands-on design, create, and refine dashboards in Jira Cloud;
  • Implement continuous improvement practices through Retrospectives and Kaizens;
  • Coach team members to be able to take over the role of Scrum Master once coaching is complete.
  • Must haves

  • +3 years of experience as a Scrum Master;
  • Expertise in Jira Cloud to manage backlogs, sprints, and track work progress;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication to articulate ideas and Agile concepts clearly;
  • Upper-intermediate English level;
  • Core Skills:
  • Agile Methodologies Knowledge: deep understanding of Agile principles and values; knowledge of frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
  • Facilitation Skills: ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives; conflict resolution and negotiation to address team dynamics; encouraging participation and collaboration during meetings.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: excellent verbal and written communication to articulate ideas and Agile concepts clearly; active listening skills to understand team needs and challenges.
  • Problem Solving and Decision Making: analytical skills to identify challenges and find root causes; quick decision-making in a dynamic environment to keep the team moving forward.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Jira or Agile Project Management Tools: expertise in tools like Jira Cloud, DevOps, or others to manage backlogs, sprints, and track work progress; creating and refining dashboards and metrics for team performance and status reporting. Metrics and Reporting: familiarity with Agile metrics like velocity, burn-down/up charts, cycle time, and lead time; ability to design and implement dashboards that provide insights into team performance.
  • Change Management: skills in guiding teams and organizations through Agile transformations; understanding of organizational change principles and resistance management.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: ability to adapt to different team dynamics and organizational cultures; flexibility to shift between different Agile frameworks and methodologies depending on the situation.
  • Collaboration and Cross-Team Coordination: ability to foster collaboration within the team and across other teams in the organization; knowledge of scaling Agile for cross-team collaboration and managing dependencies across teams.
