What you will do
- Design and develop database solutions using SQL Server
- Create and maintain data models, database schema, and data dictionaries
- Implement Service Broker queue concepts
- Provide solutions to other groups and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Discuss pros and cons of potential solutions and make recommendations based on business needs
- Perform troubleshooting and debugging of database issues
- Maintain database performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems
- Work with Control-m jobs scheduling and Jenkins (nice to have)
Must haves
- Extensive experience in SQL Server
- Strong understanding of database design and data modeling principles
- Knowledge of Service Broker queue concepts and their implementation
- Ability to create database schemas, data models, and data dictionaries
- Experience with ETL and Informatica (nice to have)
- Experience with Control-m jobs scheduling and Jenkins (nice to have)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in database development and data modeling
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment is preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
