What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality fullstack applications using modern technologies;
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code across both frontend and backend systems;
- Define and implement best practices for leveraging AI models to review, analyze, and improve code quality;
- Use AI tools to enhance development workflows and engineering productivity;
- Evaluate and implement AI-assisted development approaches across the engineering lifecycle;
- Collaborate with other engineers to improve development standards, code reviews, and technical architecture;
- Take ownership of technical solutions and drive engineering excellence across projects.
Must haves
- Recent, hands-on production experience with .NET 8 or 9 within the last two years;
- Experience designing and building RESTful services using ASP.NET Core Web API that serve multi-portal frontends;
- Experience with Entity Framework Core against PostgreSQL;
- Experience with async, event-driven patterns using Azure Service Bus or an equivalent message queue;
- Comfort designing service boundaries and contracts;
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture, including tenant isolation, audit trails, and configurable role models;
- Recent production experience with React + TypeScript for component-driven, multi-portal applications;
- Experience building mobile-responsive UX;
- Experience building or contributing to a shared frontend architecture;
- Deep Angular experience does not substitute for React production experience;
- Experience with Azure as the primary cloud, including Azure Container Apps, Azure Key Vault, Azure Service Bus, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Cache for Redis, and Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server;
- Experience with Azure DevOps end-to-end, including Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, and familiarity with Azure Boards;
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code;
- Experience with Azure Entra ID for SSO/SAML, enterprise identity, JWT, and RBAC patterns;
- HIPAA-aware engineering, including encryption, audit trails, minimum necessary access, and careful PHI handling;
- Healthcare or regulated-data background is strongly preferred;
- Experience using Claude Code or equivalent agentic tools for end-to-end feature development;
- Discipline around AI-generated code, including PR-based review, automated test gates, and eval-driven development;
- Comfort working in a C# + Claude Code loop;
- Upper-intermediate English level.
Nice to haves
- Python (FastAPI) production experience;
- Familiarity with vector stores, LLM integration patterns, and prompt evals;
- Experience with hexagonal architecture, TDD, and clean code instincts;
- Experience integrating with payer or Medicaid systems;
- Experience with feature flag systems such as LaunchDarkly or PostHog;
- SOC 2 or StateRAMP experience;
- Experience working in a PE-backed scale-up environment with steering-group cadence.
