What you will do
- Partner with stakeholders across departments to capture and validate business needs;
- Translate business concepts into structured technical requirements, use cases, and user stories;
- Define data and integration requirements in collaboration with architects;
- Map current- and future-state processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency;
- Maintain a clear traceability matrix linking business requests to delivered functionality;
- Work with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to clarify metric definitions, data transformations, and aggregation rules;
- Support efforts to standardize KPIs and enable self-service analytics using BI tools;
- Validate data outputs and ensure alignment with business definitions and governance standards;
- Collaborate with data governance leadership to ensure quality, compliance, and consistent usage of data assets;
- Assist in the design and implementation of new data pipelines, APIs, and system integrations across cloud environments;
- Partner with architects to document data lineage, source-to-target mappings, and system dependencies;
- Analyze and communicate technical constraints, data availability, and system impacts to business sponsors;
- Coordinate with engineering teams to perform user acceptance testing and validate results.
Must haves
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, or Product Owner in data, IT, or digital transformation contexts;
- Strong ability to bridge business language and technical concepts;
- Knowledge of data systems, cloud services (AWS preferred), and integration frameworks such as APIs;
- Experience writing detailed functional specifications, user stories, process diagrams, and acceptance criteria;
- Understanding of data modeling concepts, ETL pipelines, and BI/reporting workflows;
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
- Collaborative approach in team settings spanning technical and business disciplines;
- Upper-intermediate English level.
Nice to haves
- Experience in hospitality, travel, or luxury retail industries;
- Familiarity with Scrum/Agile practices, Jira, Confluence, and data catalog systems.
