What you will do
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to live hiring events and platform functionality;
- Collaborate closely with Client Support and GTM teams to triage and prioritize support requests;
- Monitor production systems and respond quickly to alerts, incidents, and performance degradation;
- Ensure issues are resolved within established SLAs while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction;
- Support architecture updates, integrations, and dependency changes impacting event functionality;
- Maintain and improve backend and frontend systems powering hiring events and lobby experiences;
- Take ownership of deployments, code merges, and production releases;
- Help lead, mentor, onboard, and support other engineers joining the team;
- Use data and logs to investigate and troubleshoot production issues effectively;
- Contribute to technical prioritization and strategic decision-making across multiple projects.
Must haves
- 7+ years of software engineering experience;
- Strong expertise with Java and SpringBoot;
- Experience with Python and Django;
- Strong experience with React;
- Experience working with Kafka, GraphQL, and SQL and/or MongoDB;
- Experience with at least one of the following: Dagster, Data Lakes, or Amazon Athena;
- Experience with building pipelines, deployments, and production environments;
- Proven ability to ramp up quickly and independently own complex projects;
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in production systems;
- Experience working in high-support, customer-impacting environments;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical issues and solutions;
- Comfortable handling ambiguity and shifting priorities;
- Strong ownership mentality and proactive approach to problem-solving;
- Upper-intermediate English level.
Nice to haves
- Previous Product Manager or cross-functional prioritization experience;
- Experience working with GTM and client-facing teams;
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf;
- Experience leading teams, coordinating work across engineers, or acting as a technical lead.
We are looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer to own production reliability and rapid troubleshooting on a live Hiring Events platform serving enterprise clients in real time. You will work across Java, Spring Boot, Python, and React, managing deployments, resolving production incidents within SLAs, and collaborating closely with Client Support and GTM teams.
