What you will do
- Upgrade and optimize existing XSLT 1.0/2.0 codebases to XSLT 3.0;
- Design and implement efficient, reusable, and maintainable transformation logic;
- Work with Xalan and Saxon processors, ensuring compatibility and performance across environments;
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize large-scale XML transformations;
- Collaborate with backend and integration teams to support API-driven data exchange;
- Apply best practices in version control, testing, and documentation.
Must haves
- 5+ years of proven expertise in XSLT (2.0/3.0), XML, XPath, and schema validation;
- Experience leading teams;
- Hands-on experience with Xalan and Saxon parsers;
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for transformation workflows;
- Familiarity with Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
- Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and data exchange formats (JSON, XML);
- Upper-Intermediate English level.
