About the role
We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead global delivery of a security and vulnerability remediation program across distributed teams.
The mandatory requirements are experience with vulnerability management lifecycles, cloud security, or security architecture, 5+ years managing multi-region enterprise IT programs, scaled Agile in regulated environments, Jira, and strong English communication skills.
What you will do
- 24x7 Delivery: Manage project timelines, dependencies, and Agile ceremonies across USA, EU, LatAm, and India pods to ensure seamless execution.
- Milestone Tracking: Track the delivery of discrete milestones, from ASPM enablement to automated evidence attestation.
- Expectation Management: Drive stakeholder expectations and align deliverables on rapid, short-horizon timelines (typically with 3-to-4-week cycles/expectations).
- Proactive Problem Solving: Identify, escalate, and troubleshoot technical program blockers, dependencies, and delivery bottlenecks.
- Remediation Leadership: Take a strong, proactive lead on the remediation side of vulnerabilities and configuration gaps, collaborating with engineering teams to ensure timely resolutions.
- Metrics & Visibility: Provide executive-level visibility into velocity, budget burn-down, and milestone completion.
- Security Control Alignment: Maintain rigorous compliance on controls regarding security, ensuring governance frameworks are met within heavily regulated enterprise environments.
Must haves
- Leadership & Communication: Strong communication & leadership skills are a baseline requirement. You must be capable of independently managing, coaching, and aligning cross-functional global teams without oversight.
- Program Management: 5+ years of experience managing complex, multi-region enterprise IT programs.
- Security & Compliance: A deep understanding of security architecture and SCPM (Security Controls Posture Management) controls.
- Solid experience with Vulnerability Management Lifecycles, with strong expertise on the remediation side.
- Cloud Architecture: Proven experience working in a cloud-agnostic environment (AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform) with no specific platform preference.
- Project Tooling: Jira proficiency.
- Agile Expertise: Expert application of scaled Agile frameworks within heavily regulated corporate environments.
- Upper-intermediate English level.
Nice to haves
- Engineering Background: Ideally possesses a direct software or security engineering background, or a deep technical understanding of DevSecOps pipelines.
- Jira Cloud: Hands-on experience with Jira Cloud is a huge plus.
Perks
- Growth without limits: build your skills through mentorship, internal TechTalks, challenging projects, and a dedicated annual learning budget
- Competitive compensation: get recognition that reflects your skills and impact, with regular performance and compensation reviews
- Flexibility: work 100% remotely with flexible hours that support focus, autonomy, and a healthy work rhythm
- Meaningful, modern projects: build impactful products using modern technologies alongside global teams and leading brands

Have any questions?
What is the work format and schedule?
We are a remote-first company, so all our positions are remote. Schedules are flexible, but the main requirement is to have an overlap with your client’s schedule to ensure smooth collaboration. Specific details depend on the project and are discussed during the interview process.
What level of English is required?
We look for Upper-Intermediate (B2) proficiency or higher. Since you will be collaborating with international teams and global clients (including Fortune 500 companies), English is a part of your daily work.
Does AgileEngine provide work equipment?
It depends on your location. We provide equipment in Ukraine, Poland, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Guatemala, Portugal, Spain, and India. In the USA, equipment is usually provided by the client; otherwise, you will be expected to use your own setup.
What opportunities for professional growth do you offer?
We support continuous growth through personalized development paths tailored to each expert. Also, you can expect:
- An annual learning and development budget
- Internal workshops, tech talks, and mentorship programs
- Opportunities to switch projects or grow into new roles over time
What does a typical team look like, and what tools do you use?
Teams vary by project, but you’ll usually work with a mix of experts across different fields, along with a delivery or project manager who supports collaboration and onboarding.
For day-to-day work, teams commonly use tools like Jira and Google Workspace, along with communication platforms such as Google Chat. Depending on the client, you may also work with Slack, Confluence, Notion, or similar tools.
