The mandatory requirements are Power BI, Snowflake, experience with SAP HANA, SAP data, or SAP-based source systems, and an upper-intermediate English level.

Must haves

  • 4+ years of strong professional experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational and analytical data.
  • Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud-based enterprise data platforms.
  • Experience working with SAP HANA, SAP data, or SAP-based source systems.
  • Experience with data modeling, transformation, and integration concepts.
  • Strong business analysis and requirements-gathering skills.
  • Ability to understand business processes and translate them into technical and data requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of data quality, data governance, KPI definitions, and data consistency.
  • Experience coordinating or supporting the onboarding of data from enterprise source systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across multiple layers of a data solution.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain data and technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Upper-intermediate English level.

Nice to haves

  • Experience designing enterprise-level semantic models and reusable datasets.
  • Experience establishing standardized KPIs and reporting definitions across multiple business areas.
  • Understanding of enterprise data architecture and modern data platform concepts.
  • Experience working with ETL/ELT processes and data transformation pipelines.
  • Experience with additional SAP technologies or SAP analytics environments.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to independently investigate data and reporting challenges.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering reliable, intuitive, and maintainable analytics solutions.
  • A desire to continually improve reporting practices, data quality, and the overall user experience.

What you will do

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand business processes, KPIs, data definitions, and analytical needs.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear and actionable business insights.
  • Translate business requirements into appropriate data models, metrics, visualizations, and reporting solutions.
  • Work with IT and source-system owners to identify required data, understand source structures, and coordinate data availability.
  • Support the onboarding and integration of data into the enterprise data platform, including Snowflake and SAP HANA data sources.
  • Troubleshoot data and reporting issues across the complete flow from source system → data platform → semantic/model layer → Power BI.
  • Collaborate with business data owners and technical teams to improve data consistency, quality, and reliability.
  • Promote reusable data models, common KPI definitions, and scalable analytics solutions instead of isolated reports.
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on effective data visualization and the use of analytics to support decision-making.
  • Document data definitions, reporting logic, KPIs, and technical solutions.
  • Work in an Agile delivery environment and collaborate with distributed and remote teams.

FAQ

Have any questions?

What is the work format and schedule?

We are a remote-first company, so all our positions are remote. Schedules are flexible, but the main requirement is to have an overlap with your client’s schedule to ensure smooth collaboration. Specific details depend on the project and are discussed during the interview process.

What level of English is required?

We look for Upper-Intermediate (B2) proficiency or higher. Since you will be collaborating with international teams and global clients (including Fortune 500 companies), English is a part of your daily work.

Does AgileEngine provide work equipment?

It depends on your location. We provide equipment in Ukraine, Poland, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Guatemala, Portugal, Spain, and India. In the USA, equipment is usually provided by the client; otherwise, you will be expected to use your own setup.

What opportunities for professional growth do you offer?

We support continuous growth through personalized development paths tailored to each expert. Also, you can expect:

  • An annual learning and development budget
  • Internal workshops, tech talks, and mentorship programs
  • Opportunities to switch projects or grow into new roles over time

What does a typical team look like, and what tools do you use?

Teams vary by project, but you’ll usually work with a mix of experts across different fields, along with a delivery or project manager who supports collaboration and onboarding.

For day-to-day work, teams commonly use tools like Jira and Google Workspace, along with communication platforms such as Google Chat. Depending on the client, you may also work with Slack, Confluence, Notion, or similar tools.
