About the role

We are looking for a Senior Designer to lead e-commerce websites, web and mobile apps, and brand identity work for CPG clients. This person moves fluidly between wireframes, user flows, and polished visual design, applying ecommerce best practices across every deliverable. Comfort presenting decisions directly to clients and mentoring junior designers rounds out the role.

What you will do

  • Ideate and execute compelling design concepts.
  • Create conceptual and practical designs that map back to the client’s business goals, audience, and vertical.
  • Maintain high standards in the work created and ensure only the best work is shared with the client.
  • Advise clients on industry best practices when appropriate.
  • Accurately estimate time to complete work.
  • Continually experiment with new tools and technologies.
  • Research and provide strategic, goal-driven solutions for clients.
  • Collaborate with other designers, both in-house and freelance.
  • Provide useful contributions to team meetings and conversations, actively participating in client meetings and workshops.
  • Provide thoughtful and constructive feedback to all team members during presentations.
  • Mentor junior designers and interns.
  • Proactively explore new tools.
  • Use AI to improve workflow efficiency and streamline the design process.

Must haves

  • Strong visual design aesthetic and conceptual thinking, with a strong handle on layout, navigation, typography, colors, and image composition as applied to web and mobile experiences.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in all deliverables.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with the team. As a designer, you will not only be expected to bring your own creative ideas to the table but also flawlessly execute on the shared project vision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when talking about design and collaborating with other team members.
  • UX and UI skill set, including wireframes, sitemaps, and information architecture.
  • Experience building data-backed designs.
  • Ability to articulate digital design and web terms and speak confidently to clients about web platforms, how designs will function, and how designs will be implemented.
  • Excellent and efficient organizational and time management skills; able to self-manage and prioritize tasks to ensure work is delivered on time and of the highest quality.
  • Experience designing for omnichannel, including Amazon A+ Creative, email, social, and campaigns.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Graphic Design, or a similar discipline.
  • 4+ years of digital design experience; prior agency experience is preferred.
  • Solid working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Solid knowledge of industry tools and understanding of designing intuitive and responsive user experiences.
  • Upper-intermediate English level.

FAQ

Have any questions?

What is the work format and schedule?

We are a remote-first company, so all our positions are remote. Schedules are flexible, but the main requirement is to have an overlap with your client’s schedule to ensure smooth collaboration. Specific details depend on the project and are discussed during the interview process.

What level of English is required?

We look for Upper-Intermediate (B2) proficiency or higher. Since you will be collaborating with international teams and global clients (including Fortune 500 companies), English is a part of your daily work.

Does AgileEngine provide work equipment?

It depends on your location. We provide equipment in Ukraine, Poland, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Guatemala, Portugal, Spain, and India. In the USA, equipment is usually provided by the client; otherwise, you will be expected to use your own setup.

What opportunities for professional growth do you offer?

We support continuous growth through personalized development paths tailored to each expert. Also, you can expect:

  • An annual learning and development budget
  • Internal workshops, tech talks, and mentorship programs
  • Opportunities to switch projects or grow into new roles over time

What does a typical team look like, and what tools do you use?

Teams vary by project, but you’ll usually work with a mix of experts across different fields, along with a delivery or project manager who supports collaboration and onboarding.

For day-to-day work, teams commonly use tools like Jira and Google Workspace, along with communication platforms such as Google Chat. Depending on the client, you may also work with Slack, Confluence, Notion, or similar tools.
