About the role
We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to support Sales Cloud and Service Cloud solutions within an enterprise environment. This role focuses on delivering scalable custom components, dependable integrations, and high-impact business functionality using Apex and Lightning frameworks. You will work independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.
What you will do
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
- Develop scalable, high-quality applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning frameworks (Aura and/or LWC).
- Design and maintain custom objects, automation, workflows, triggers, and validation rules.
- Write optimized SOQL and SOSL queries.
- Extend and enhance existing Salesforce data models and business logic.
- Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems using REST, Bulk, and Metadata APIs.
- Integrate Salesforce with external SaaS platforms and AppExchange applications.
- Follow established coding standards, version control practices, and CI/CD processes.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, technical leads, and business stakeholders to deliver defined project outcomes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and iterative development processes.
- Produce technical documentation and support knowledge transfer when required.
- Deliver high-quality, maintainable code within established timelines.
- Adhere to existing architectural standards and development best practices.
- Clearly communicate project status, risks, and technical considerations.
- Work efficiently within a defined project scope and contract duration.
- Support testing, deployment, and stabilization efforts as needed.
Must haves
- 5+ years of experience developing Salesforce business applications.
- Strong proficiency in Apex (triggers, controllers, test classes).
- Strong proficiency in Lightning (Aura and/or LWC).
- Strong proficiency in Visualforce.
- Strong proficiency in SOQL and SOSL.
- Experience developing custom objects and working within the Salesforce development environment.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems using REST-based web services.
- Experience working with AppExchange applications.
- Hands-on experience with Git and deployment/migration tools (e.g., Copado or similar CI/CD tools).
- Demonstrated experience building business solutions within Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Upper-intermediate English level.
Nice to haves
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale Salesforce environments.
- Familiarity with complex data models and large-scale implementations.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with AI-driven tools or services (e.g., predictive analytics, machine learning APIs, generative AI platforms).
- Exposure to Salesforce AI capabilities, such as Einstein features or AI-powered automation within Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.
- Experience building AI-enabled workflows or automation using REST APIs.
- Understanding of prompt engineering concepts or applying generative AI tools within business applications.
- Familiarity with data preparation, governance, and security considerations for AI-enabled solutions.

What is the work format and schedule?
We are a remote-first company, so all our positions are remote. Schedules are flexible, but the main requirement is to have an overlap with your client’s schedule to ensure smooth collaboration. Specific details depend on the project and are discussed during the interview process.
What level of English is required?
We look for Upper-Intermediate (B2) proficiency or higher. Since you will be collaborating with international teams and global clients (including Fortune 500 companies), English is a part of your daily work.
Does AgileEngine provide work equipment?
It depends on your location. We provide equipment in Ukraine, Poland, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Guatemala, Portugal, Spain, and India. In the USA, equipment is usually provided by the client; otherwise, you will be expected to use your own setup.
